The Fruit Bowl!

The Bowl was the first piece created in the workshop. I never had time to finish it off this one on the english wheel but would feel confident in making another, and would enjoy doing so!





Here it is holding some avocados and a banana!

L T T S Assignment two required us to form into groups. These groups were organised to increase interdisciplinary communication within the course. My group consisted of four people including Gregory Brock, Hepeng Ouyang, Marco Lei and myself ( Henry Wever ), studying construction management, architecture x2 and landscape architecture respectively. Aim -   To create a torus (reverse curve).   What is a Torus (reverse curve)? - A torus is defined as a surface or solid formed by rotating a closed curve, especially a circle, about a line which lies in the same plane but does not intersect it (e.g. like a ring doughnut).
